  • Telegram's @wallet bot has integrated a custodial bitcoin wallet which let's its users buy, receive, send, withdraw, swap and sell bitcoin on Telegram's peer-to-peer marketplace.
  • "Starting from today, all @wallet users will be able to buy, withdraw, and exchange Bitcoin directly through our user-friendly web interface. Previously, Bitcoin was only accessible in the text bot, but now all users of the most well-known cryptocurrency in @wallet will be able to take full advantage of our web interface."
  • "Buying and selling Bitcoin is now much more convenient using the “Buy & Sell” section of the web interface. To get started, just select “Buy & Sell” and choose your preferred payment method, either via a bank card or the P2P Market."

  • Some wallet's features may ask users to verify their phone number and buying bitcoin with a bank card requires identity verification.
  • The Wallet bot and similar services are created by third-party developers using Telegram’s open bot API. It is 100% open for all developers who wish to create Telegram applications.
  • The Wallet bot is developed and maintained by the TON community founded by Pavel Durov and Nikolai Durov, the founders of Telegram. They claim to no longer have any association with the TON community.
