OpenSats Grants Long-Term Support for rust-nostr Maintainer Yuki Kishimoto
OpenSats awarded long-term support to Yuki Kishimoto for his contributions to the nostr ecosystem.
- Yuki is the maintainer and creator of rust-nostr, a Rust implementation of the nostr protocol. He has also contributed to other projects, including SmartVaults, KeeChain, rust-negentropy, CDK, BDK, and Mostro.
rust-nostr
includes a high-level nostr client library, language bindings, and more. The goal of the project is to enable others to build fast, stable, and efficient nostr applications.
"I'm so honored to have been selected, you've realized my dream: working full time on open source projects as an independent dev! Thank you so much OpenSats and donors," Yuki said in response.
- Yuki intends to continue improving and expanding rust-nostr by implementing the outbox model, bringing
rust-nostr
out of alpha, adding additional libraries, improving unit tests and completing additional bindings, implementing new NIPs, writing additional code documentation and finalizing the Rust Nostr Book.
