SimpleX Chat v5.3: Desktop App, Local File Encryption and Improved Groups
SimpleX Chat is a messaging platform that has no user identifiers and is private by design.
SimpleX Chat v5.3 has been released. It comes with:
- A new desktop app!!
- A directory service and other group improvements.
- Encrypted local files and media with forward secrecy.
- Simplified incognito mode.
There are a lot of other improvements and fixes in this release:

- App memory usage is reduced by 40%.
- New privacy settings: show last messages & save draft.
