River Is Working on Non-Custodial No KYC Lightning Payments Solution for Developers

River said the company is working on a solution which will 'drastically reduce friction required to build on Lightning.'

"We're working on an upgrade to River Lightning that will allow any developer globally (non-custodial/no-KYC) to signup and start programmatically sending and receiving Lightning payments within minutes, drastically reducing the friction required to build on LN," said River CEO Alexander Leishman on X.
"We've been working on some cool tech for the past year that will power this. We will be sharing more in the months to come."
Leishman also confirmed the solution in the works is being built with Lightning Dev Kit (LDK).
