Nunchuk Releases Collaborative Custody Subscription Plans Focused on Inheritance Planning
Plan your inheritance in a non-custodial way and ensure that your bitcoin can be safely passed on to your loved ones. Nunchuk inheritance plan can work independently or within your existing estate plan.
- The Iron Hand plan costs $120 per year and is a 2 of 3 multisig. Nunchuk holds one key.
- The Honey Badger Plan costs $450 per year and is a 2 of 4 multisig. Nunchuk holds one key. There is a dedicated timelocked inheritance key that is held on a Coinkite Tapsigner.
- In the current version of Honey Badger, the timelock is enforced off-chain by the Nunchuk platform. An alternative is to use an on-chain timelock via OP_CHECKLOCKTIMEVERIFY. However, due to the lack of hardware support, such a solution is currently not production-ready. Once this is addressed, a future version of Honey Badger will be able to offer both off-chain and on-chain timelock options.
