CEO of Bitcoin Miner 'Bitfarms' Resigns, COO Takes Over: Stock Down 92% This Year
Founded in 2017, Bitfarms is a global Bitcoin self-mining company, running vertically integrated mining operations with onsite technical repair, proprietary data analytics and Company-owned electrical engineering and installation services.
Emiliano Grodzki, Cofounder and CEO of publicly traded Canadian bitcoin miner Bitfarms, has resigned. The company's President and COO Geoffrey Morphy has been promoted as his replacement.
Grodzki will remain as a director. Cofounder Nicolas Bonta will move from executive chairman to chairman of the board.
