BlueWallet Shutting Down Custodial Lightning Wallet on April 30th: Remove Funds ASAP
Going forward BlueWallet will only offer self custody solutions.
- By default, lightning wallets on BlueWallet have been custodial.
- You can still withdraw your sats, but creating new or refilling existing lightning wallets using the default custodial lightning node will no longer be possible.
- If you are using your own lightning node you are not affected.
- On chain wallets are not affected.
- Going forward BlueWallet will only offer self custody solutions.
